We’re supporting a well-established, mid-sized architecture practice known for delivering thoughtful, community-focused projects across education, civic, public domain, cultural and multi-residential sectors. With several major projects now entering key design and delivery phases, the studio is looking for a Senior Architect to step into a pivotal project leadership role.
The Role
You’ll play a central part in driving high-quality outcomes on complex, large-scale projects typically valued at $30m–$150m. This is a hands-on senior position where you’ll balance design leadership, technical oversight and client engagement, supported by a close-knit team of designers and associates.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading medium–large scale public, community, education or mixed-use projects
- Guiding project strategy, design development and key decision-making
- Coordinating consultants, planning requirements and stakeholder engagement
- Overseeing documentation quality, technical resolution and construction queries
- Mentoring mid-level and junior staff within a collaborative team environment
- Ensuring smooth delivery across all project stages
- 8+ years’ experience within an architectural practice
- Proven exposure to large-scale, complex projects ($30m+)
- Strong design capability with excellent technical and documentation skills
- Experience in multi unit resi, education, civic, community or public architecture.
- Confident communicator with strong client-facing abilities
- Revit proficiency preferred
- Architectural Registration.
