A leading environmental consultancy is seeking a Graduate or Mid-Level Contaminated Land Management (CLM) Consultant to join their Melbourne office. This is a permanent role offering exposure to a wide variety of contaminated land projects, from site assessments to remediation planning.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical investigations and assessments for contaminated land projects
- Assist with the development of remediation strategies and management plans
- Prepare high-quality technical reports and deliverables for clients
- Undertake fieldwork, including soil, groundwater, and vapour sampling
- Support regulatory submissions and environmental compliance
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulators
- Contribute to continuous improvement of internal CLM processes
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geoscience, or related discipline
- Some relevant experience (internship, grad role, or 1–3 years in environmental consulting)
- Knowledge of contaminated land assessment techniques and environmental sampling
- Strong technical writing and data interpretation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Valid driver’s license for site visits
- Experience in remediation planning
- Familiarity with Australian environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks
- Experience with GIS or environmental data software
- Understanding of risk-based land management
