This is a key leadership role within the project delivery team, responsible for managing upstream and downstream contracts from strategy through execution, while supporting commercial success across the lifecycle of high-impact renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end contract management across EPC, O&M, D&C and supplier agreements, ensuring alignment with legal, financial, and project objectives.
- Drive risk identification and mitigation, supporting project teams to resolve issues and enforce compliance effectively.
- Act as the primary commercial contact for clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage claims, variations, and disputes with confidence, working closely with legal counsel and senior leadership.
- Mentor and lead a small team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Support project financial performance, including budget oversight and invoice compliance, in coordination with finance and delivery teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Construction Management, Business, Engineering or a related field.
- 7+ years' experience in contract management within the construction or infrastructure sectors.
- Proven ability to negotiate, manage, and administer complex contracts with multiple stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of Australian construction law and commercial frameworks.
- Strong leadership, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in renewables, particularly solar and battery storage, is highly desirable.
