About the Role:
ACRWORLD are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Solar Engineer to become a vital part of our growing team, delivering utility-scale Solar Farm and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects along Australia’s eastern seaboard.
As a trusted engineering lead on major renewable projects, where you’ll work closely with design, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure everything runs smoothly, efficiently, and to plan.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the construction, installation, and commissioning of utility-scale Solar and BESS systems.
- Work closely with EPCs, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep projects on track, on time, and on budget.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and ensure every stage meets engineering and HSEQ standards.
- liaise with design teams, grid consultants, and OEMs to keep everything running smoothly
- Site-based role, where you'll play a hands-on leadership role during the construction phase
- Degree-qualified in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering (or equivalent)
- Australian driving licence.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in utility-scale Solar PV or renewable energy construction projects
- Proven experience across technical engineering, project engineering, quality assurance, and HSE on site
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
