The Client
My client is a Tier 2 Builder with 20 years + of experience working across commercial and residential sectors. They have assets across retail, mixed-use and industrial sectors. They deliver projects throughout the entire project lifecycle; from planning, design, construction & development.
The Role
- Develop and implement site health and safety management plans, procedures, and standards.
- Monitor WHS policies and ensure compliance.
- Support the Permit to Work (PTW) process.
- Develop Safe Systems of Work aligned with legislative requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct emergency planning and response activities.
- Audit contractor health and safety management systems.
- Conduct WHS inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
- Act as the subject matter expert for solar and battery operations.
- Identify WHS training needs and support workforce development.
- Ensure adherence to WHS regulations and internal policies.
- Contribute to risk assessments and control improvements.

Must have:
- Minimum of a Cert IV in WHS
- 3+ years experience in WHS
- Previous civil construction experience
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- First Aid Certificate.
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
