Key Responsibilities:

• Operate an excavator for tasks such as digging, trenching, and other excavation duties.
• Ensure the excavator is well-maintained and ready for each job.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure projects stay on track and meet deadlines.
• Follow all safety procedures to maintain a secure and compliant worksite.
• Assist with site preparation, including clearing and leveling ground as necessary.
• Attend job briefings and site meetings to stay updated on project requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Ausgrid Passport (This is essential).
• Previous experience operating excavators, with a solid understanding of excavation methods.
• A valid Excavator Operator License (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to maintain a safe working environment.
• Ability to read and understand site plans and drawings.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Physically fit to handle any manual tasks when needed.
• White Card (Construction Induction)
