• Office based in the North Shore area near to Lane Cove.

About The Job Role  

• Estimator position reporting into the company director.
• Take a lead role in the preparation of tender packages, pricing, estimating, scope of works (SOW) and value management.
• Salary between $110,000 and $150,000 plus super.

Duties 

• Scope of Works (SOW) management.
• Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) take-offs, materials and labour costs.
• Evaluate and compare subcontracts and supplier bids.
• Value Management alongside the Project Manager.
• Source new trades alongside Project Manager and Contract Administrator.
• Preparation of tender documentation.
• Manging RFI's.
• Procurement.
• Contract administration.

 Essential Skills & Experience  

• Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Mathematics, Construction, Engineering or any other related field.
• Proven experience of estimating for luxury residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of the BCA / NCC and Australian Standards.
• Understanding of construction materials, methods and techniques.
• Knowledge of industry software such as Microsoft Project and Procore.
