Contracts Administrator – Contract Role – Premium New Build Project, Sydney CBD
Are you ready to advance your career in construction? We are proud to partner with one of Sydney’s most respected builders in their search for a skilled Contracts Administrator to support the delivery of a landmark new build project in the Sydney CBD.
This is an outstanding opportunity to work on a high-profile commercial project, collaborate with industry leaders, and hone your skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
The Role: As the Contracts Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of this prestigious new build project. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Managing all aspects of contract administration, including procurement, variations, and claims.
  • Preparing, negotiating, and administering subcontractor agreements.
  • Monitoring project budgets, costs, and forecasts to ensure financial control.
  • Liaising with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure clear communication and alignment.
  • Identifying risks and assisting in resolving contractual and financial issues.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company and legal standards.
  • Supporting the Project Manager to deliver the project on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
What We’re Looking For: To excel in this role, you’ll need:
  • Proven experience in contract administration: Prior experience in commercial new builds or similar large-scale construction projects is essential.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and financial management: A thorough knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., AS4000) and cost control processes.
  • Exceptional organizational skills: You can juggle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proactive and results-driven mindset: You thrive in high-pressure environments and are adept at solving complex challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills: You can confidently liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
