Play a pivotal role as the APAC lead for a Global renewable energy giant. Based in Melbourne, this newly created role is perfect for a versatile HR professional with experience managing diverse teams within a mixed white and blue-collar workforce.
You'll collaborate closely with global HR to align HR processes, create structure and implement innovative People & Culture initiatives - shaping the face of an expanding APAC team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on in all aspects of HR and is ready to take their career to the next level with a global market leader!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted HR partner to align workforce planning, recruitment, and employee relations with global strategy and business goals
  • Manage end-to-end HR processes, employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, and training initiatives
  • Oversee employee relations activities, fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring compliance with regional employment laws
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance retention and satisfaction
  • Assist in managing the transformation process and ensure achievement of targets with continuous process improvement initiatives
  • Develop and implement HR policies, ensuring alignment with local legislation and global practices
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a HR Generalist or Advisor, with proven ability to operate in a standalone role
  • Proven experience working in engineering services, construction, manufacturing, energy, utilities or related industries, managing mixed permanent and contractor teams
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, employment laws, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire trust and build relationships
