The Role:
As an HSE Advisor, you’ll be instrumental in promoting a culture of safety across our renewable energy projects. You’ll work closely with project teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations, implement safety initiatives, and drive continuous improvement across our operations. This role is perfect for someone who is looking to expand their skills and grow within a supportive environment, with ample opportunities to progress in a rapidly evolving industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of HSE policies and procedures across projects
- Conduct site safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with local and industry safety standards
- Assist in accident/incident investigations and implement corrective actions
- Provide HSE training, inductions, and toolbox talks
- Collaborate with site teams to ensure proactive safety management
- Monitor and report on HSE performance and improvement plans
- Promote a positive safety culture and lead by example on-site
- A relevant qualification in Health, Safety, and Environment (Certificate IV in WHS or similar)
- Experience or interest in the construction, electrical, or renewable energy sectors
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards (ISO 45001 or similar preferred)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse teams
- A proactive attitude with a passion for continuous learning and improvement
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites
