Key Responsibilities:
- Perform carpentry work on railway construction and maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Install, repair, and maintain wooden structures and components on railway infrastructure, such as platforms, signal posts, fencing, and bridges.
- Work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with the required specifications and safety standards.
- Maintain a safe working environment and report any issues to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate with other trades and site teams to ensure project success.
- Adhere to all railway safety protocols and industry best practices.
- Valid RIW or RISI Ticket (Rail Industry Worker or Rail Industry Safety Induction).
- Proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably with experience in railway or construction sectors.
- Strong understanding of carpentry tools, techniques, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality of work.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Full PPE and relevant safety certifications.
