Our client is a leading Fitout & Refurbishment head contractor with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional commercial projects in NSW, QLD and VIC. They work across design only, D&C, and construct only projects across both commercial fitout and minor works roll-out projects.
The Role:
As the Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships, leading project teams, and overseeing all aspects of project execution from pre-construction planning to final delivery.
This position is to be in charge of the Minor Works Division, which includes projects across all states in Australia. These could be refurbs, new builds, and renovations across health and wellbeing sectors. The minor works projects could range between $20k - $500k in value. You will be responsible for overseeing a turnover per year of $5mil.
You will be responsible for achieving financial targets, maintaining compliance and safety standards, and ensuring project delivery meets timelines and budget requirements. You will be the point of contact between the designer, client and subcontractors.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree or trade qualification in construction, engineering, or a related field.
- Come from a similar background, focusing on minor works roll-out projects - fast paced environment.
- Shop-fitting PM's welcomed to apply.
- Be able to comfortable manage numerous projects at once.
- Have a can do attitude.
- Proficiency in Procore & MS Projects.
- Strong industry and technical knowledge, with expertise in construction management.
- Local knowledge.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Able to handle multiple projects and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset and a drive to achieve high performance in project delivery.
