As an Estimator / Senior Estimator, your role will encompass:
- Tender Evaluation & Development
- Reviewing tender documents and develop comprehensive ground models.
- Providing input on technical methodologies and develop tailored engineering solutions for geohazard challenges.
- Client and Consultant Collaboration
- Engaging with clients and consultants to understand project requirements and propose innovative solutions.
- Cost and Program Estimation
- Using in-house systems to compile quantities, estimate costs, and create detailed project programs.
- Project Handover and Implementation
- Leading the transition from estimation to operations during project initiation.
- Supporting the preparation of project plans, including HSEQ protocols.
- Conducting site visits to assess conditions and gather operational insights for continuous improvement.

- A tertiary qualification in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
- Membership with Engineers Australia (preferred).
- At least 7-10 years' experience in geohazard mitigation, ground engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Australian Standards and Codes of Practice.
- Strong understanding of geotechnical principles, tunnelling techniques, ground anchors, and slope stabilisation.
- Expertise in reviewing technical drawings and specifications to compile accurate tenders.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
