A multi-disciplinary large Engineering Consultancy with projects throughout NSW. Working across Urban, Land Development and Infrastructure projects.

It has offices in 4 locations in NSW. It has an established history operating in Australia and has built a great business, with experienced business leaders and mentors.

It has flexible working options, many of its team requires flexible working options for school pick ups, it can offer working from home or staggered starts and finishes.

The Position:

We are looking to identify a Civil Project Manager who will work directly for the Engineering Consultancy for a range of Civil Engineering projects.
  • Planning, execution and finalisation of projects within time and budget across the full project life cycle
  • Preparation and Implementation of Project Management Plans for all phases of the projects
  • Providing status reports, communicating across the leadership team and to internal and external stakeholders
  • Preparation of fee proposals for new projects and contract variations 
  • Providing support to the Civil Engineers, Lead Engineers, Directors to achieve their own projects milestones
  • Join a medium to large sized business working on some landmark, high profile projects
  • Projects sitting in the land development, urban development, civil subdivisions sectors.
The Requirements
  • Ideally a minimum of 2-3 years experience in a PM capacity across Civil Infrastructure projects
  • Alternatively 2-3 years sitting as a Senior Civil Engineer with project management responsibilities
  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of civil engineering principles, terminology, and design standards.
  • Commercial acumen, the ability to run projects within time and cost.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
  • A can do attitude, a people person with non-egotistical attitude
