Our client is a growing organisation in the construction and infrastructure industry, known for delivering complex projects for high-profile clients. They are currently seeking an experienced HSE Coordinator to strengthen their team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building a strong HSE culture, ensuring compliance, and driving engagement across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and encourage a positive safety culture through exemplary leadership and active engagement.
- Leverage experience within an Integrated Management System framework to guide HSE practices across new and existing facilities.
- Conduct safety, quality, and environmental inspections across project sites, ensuring consistent setup procedures and adherence to standards.
- Support site teams, staff, and contractors in compliance with legislation, standards, and contractual obligations.
- Conduct environmental and quality assessments, perform audits, and identify areas for improvement.
- Act as the company’s representative for Workplace Health and Safety matters, providing comprehensive HSE guidance to senior management.
- Manage incident reporting, participate in investigations, and aid in embedding health and safety work plans within teams.
To Be Successful:
- Hold a minimum of Certificate IV in Workplace Safety or higher qualification in safety management.
- Profound knowledge of HSEQ processes and prior experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated commitment to health and safety best practices.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic office environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
