About the Role:
Due to high demand from a top-tier hydraulic and mechanical contractor, we immediately need an experienced foreman based in Sydney. This is a fantastic opportunity to oversee large-scale commercial projects and drive success from planning through to completion, ensuring high standards in both quality and safety. If you’re a skilled leader with a strong plumbing background, this role will allow you to make a significant impact with an industry-leading organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all on-site plumbing activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Coordinate and supervise the plumbing team, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring smooth workflow and timely project completion.
- Ensure quality control and compliance with local codes, regulations, and company policies.
- Work closely with project managers and engineers to maintain project timelines and budgets.
- Conduct regular inspections and provide reports to stakeholders, identifying and addressing any issues or delays promptly.
- Use Aconex for effective document management and project communication, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accessible.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members on site.
- Cert III or IV in Plumbing or similar relevent qualification.

- Valid Australian working rights
- Proven experience as a Plumbing Foreman or similar role, ideally within the commercial construction sector.
- Solid experience using Aconex for document management and project coordination.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.
