My client is looking for a Fire Alarm Technician to undertake service work on residential strata, through to commercial office, hotels, factories, schools, airports and government contracts across the Sydney area. 

You will be responsible for 

• Programming experience with the main FIP panels – AMPAC, Pertronic, Notifier, Tyco, Simplex
• Experience with FIP/EWIS upgrades, installations, testing and commissioning
• Knowledge of applicable standards for Fire Detection and Alarm Systems.
• Train other fire techs in detection systems/fault finding/programming/installs etc.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous Fire Protection experience
• Minimum 2 years of fault-finding experience and programming.
• Good communication skills – writing notes, scoping rectification works
• Knowledge of applicable standards for Fire Detection and Alarm Systems.
