About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Site Engineer to join our dynamic team on a major road and bridge project in Sydney. This contract role offers a unique opportunity to contribute your skills and expertise to an impactful infrastructure initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage on-site activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, to maintain efficient workflow and project timelines.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and standards.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, progress reports, and project updates.
- Assist in resolving any technical issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Maintain strong communication and collaboration with the project management team and other relevant parties.
- Previous experience working with Transport for NSW (TFNSW) projects is essential.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven track record as a Site Engineer on road and bridge projects.
- Comprehensive understanding of road construction methods and bridge engineering.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using construction management software and other relevant tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams and stakeholders.
