Salary: Circa $50ph + Overtime
Shift: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

Job Summary: The Maintenance Fitter will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical systems and equipment within the client's facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance in an industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment, machinery, and systems.
- Diagnose mechanical malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to support overall facility maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests.
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and protocols.
- Trade qualification as a mechanical fitter.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance fitter role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Must be willing to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.
