About The Role: We are looking for a dedicated Contractor Administrator to support our client's Melbourne operations. As a Contractor Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects, maintaining strong relationships with contractors and subcontractors, and upholding our client's reputation for quality and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project schedules, specifications, and quality standards.
- Maintain precise records of contracts, change orders, and project documentation, ensuring they are up-to-date and meticulously organized.
- Facilitate effective communication between the project team, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring timely information exchange.
- Assist in monitoring project budgets and costs, working closely with the finance team to track expenditures and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure contractors adhere to safety regulations, quality standards, and project guidelines.
- Generate regular reports on project progress, budget performance, and key metrics to keep stakeholders informed.
- Address any disputes, issues, or delays promptly and collaborate with stakeholders to find solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in construction project administration or a related role.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
