Job Overview:
As an O&M Solar Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems to ensure optimal performance and maximum energy production. You will play a key role in maintaining the efficiency and safety of their solar assets while supporting the long-term sustainability of the projects.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of solar PV systems
  • Conduct inspections and performance assessments of electrical and mechanical components
  • Collaborate with operations teams to monitor system performance and implement corrective actions
  • Utilize monitoring tools and data analysis to ensure system optimization
  • Perform routine safety checks and ensure compliance with local and international standards
  • Document and report on system performance, maintenance activities, and incident resolutions
  
Qualifications:
  • Relevant technical diploma, certification, or equivalent experience in electrical or solar energy
  • Experience in operation and maintenance of solar PV systems (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, inverters, and monitoring equipment
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to different sites as needed
  • Electrical certification or qualifications (advantageous)
