As a highly respected leader in fitout and refurbishment, my client delivers high quality projects across a range of sectors including small- and large-scale commercial workspaces, hi-tech sites, education, science, health, biotech, hospitality and retail.
The Role
Due to workload and the expansion of their successful national fitout and refurbishment team, my client has a requirement for an experienced Project Manager to join the fitout and refurb team. As a Project Manager, you will report to the Senior Project Managers and Project Directors, delivering projects ranging from 650k to $50M on average.
As the successful candidate, you will oversee and manage all programming, scheduling, financial reporting, safety, client and consultant liaison. This is a great, long-term opportunity for a Project Manager with at least five years’ experience looking to step up to the next level.
Key Duties
- Produce construction programs, procurement schedules and procure all materials in conjunction with the team
- Ensure full compliance with WHS standards, ensuring the safety of site and team members at all times
- Produce quality plans and ensure the correct standard is maintained throughout the project
- Attend weekly site meetings and issue weekly project reports
- Provide formal project feedback
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years relevant industry experience
- MUST have experience with fitout & refurb projects from $10M+
- Tertiary qualification, preferably Building or Engineering or Trade qualification with further relevant education
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- An eye for detail and ability to troubleshoot problems
