Position Overview: We are seeking an organized Maintenance Supervisor / Planner to join our team at the Laverton facility. The Maintenance Supervisor / Planner will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the maintenance department by coordinating and scheduling maintenance activities to optimize equipment reliability and minimize downtime. This role will be 2IC to the maintenance manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Planning: Collaborate with maintenance managers, supervisors, and technicians to develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules.
- Work Order Management: Receive maintenance requests, prioritize tasks, and create detailed work orders outlining the scope of work, required resources, and timelines.
- Schedule Coordination: Coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules to minimize disruption to operations while ensuring timely completion of maintenance tasks.
- Resource Allocation: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to allocate resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, necessary for scheduled maintenance activities.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of spare parts, tools, and equipment inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels to support maintenance operations.
- Data Analysis: Analyze equipment performance data, maintenance history, and predictive maintenance reports to identify trends and optimize maintenance schedules and strategies.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations by incorporating safety protocols and procedures into maintenance plans and work orders.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements within the maintenance planning process, implementing best practices and technological advancements.
- Proven experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of maintenance principles, techniques, and tools, including predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- $110,000 - $120,000 Salary Package
