Position Overview:
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of equipment maintenance, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency of production machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy aligned with production goals and safety standards.
- Equipment Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify issues and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient operation and timely resolution of maintenance issues.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the maintenance department budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers for equipment servicing, repairs, and procurement of spare parts, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, and implementing safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements within the maintenance department, implementing best practices and technological advancements.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and inventory, and prepare regular reports on maintenance performance and KPIs.
- Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Knowledge of maintenance principles, techniques, and tools, including predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards for equipment safety and maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
